About Jocelyn

Taiwanese-American cellist Jocelyn Yeh is currently pursuing her master’s degree in cello performance studying at The Juilliard School with Darrett Adkins after having received her Bachelor of Music from UCLA studying with Antonio Lysy. In 2019, she was a winner of the UCLA All-Star Concerto Competition. In 2022, she received Honorable Mention at the Atwater Kent String Concerto Competition and was a winner of the Best Classical Musicians Awards.

Yeh has performed the Shostakovich Cello Concerto in E-flat Major with the UCLA Philharmonia under maestro Bruno Nascimento and as a guest soloist with the UCLA Wind Ensemble under maestra Doris Doyon. She has also played with Jacaranda Music in Noon to Midnight, LA Philharmonic’s new music marathon, at Walt Disney Concert Hall under maestro David Bloom. She has participated in various music festivals such as the Meadowmount School of Music, Taipei Music Academy and Festival, Vivace Cello Festival, and Juilliard ChamberFest.
